Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manager- Finance & Accounts to join our
team. As a Manager- Finance & Accounts you will be responsible for ensuring that our
operations comply with all applicable provisions of relevant Acts, Rules and Regulations and
internal policies.

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the goals
of the stock broking firm, ensuring long-term financial sustainability and growth.
2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the month-end closing process, including Accounts
Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL). Assist in the
preparation of comprehensive management reports on a monthly/weekly basis to
provide insights into financial performance.
3. Accounts Payable Management: Ensure timely and accurate posting of Accounts
Payable invoices, processing vendor payments, and performing monthly AP
4. Credit Control Oversight: Supervise Credit Control functions, including updating Sales
reports and managing collections posting and reconciliation.
5. Treasury and Cash Flow Management: Manage day-to-day treasury functions, cash
flow, and bank reconciliation. Prepare weekly cash flow forecast reports to optimize
liquidity management.
6. External Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison with Auditors, Tax Agents, Company
Secretary, Bankers, Merchants, and Government Authorities to ensure compliance with
regulatory requirements and facilitate effective communication.
7. Inter-Company Transactions: Oversee the checking and posting of Inter-Company
billing transactions and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
8. Fixed Asset Management: Manage Fixed Asset registration, schedule updates, and
oversee the acquisition and disposal of Fixed Assets items in accordance with relevant
regulations and accounting standards.
9. Financial Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of accounting treatments, General
Ledger management, Journal processing, and Forex to provide strategic financial
guidance and decision-making support.
10. Leadership and Team Development: Coach and provide guidance to subordinates,
demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate the finance team effectively.
11. Filing System Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of an organized and proper filing
system for all financial documents to facilitate efficient record-keeping and retrieval.
12. Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake other ad hoc Finance and Accounts related duties as assigned
by the Superior/Management to support the overall financial operations of the stock
broking firm

• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional
certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Extensive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the financial
services industry, with a proven track record of financial leadership and strategic
• Thorough knowledge of Indian financial regulations, accounting principles, and
reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
